PANTHEISM RULES!

Posted on Mar 31st, 2008 by Robin T Quinn : Pantheism Rules!!! Robin T Quinn

Hello, I am new at The Gaia Community. Here is a little about me, Rev. Robin T Quinn, but first allow me to say...

Did you know Albert Einstein was a Pantheist? You might be asking, "what is a Pantheist?" Pantheists believe God and the Universe are one in the same. IT is the only God which can be proven to exist. IT is an "Infinite Living Organism" and all things come from IT, made of IT, and are a part of IT. IT has a number of different names; Father-Nature, Mother-Nature, The All, The Infinite, God/Goddess. IT is the only philosophical/theological belief in existence which is completely and totally in alignment with modern science.

Here is a list of a few famous people who believed in Pantheism.

Did you know there is significant evidence that Jesus was a Pantheist, and that he was not talking about the Jewish God as most people simple take for granted. Rather, he was very cleverly talking about the Pantheist God (Father/Mother Nature.)
Jesus as a Pantheist could indeed say, "I and the Father are one, God is in me and I am in God." That's because all Pantheists can same the exact same thing. With the fore-mentioned statement, most people simply assumed Jesus was claiming to be God. Nothing could be further from the truth. The teachings of Jesus start to make perfect sense once you remove the Jewish god from the equation, and replace that anthropomorphic god with the Pantheist God.

I have been a devote Pantheist since the age of 19. After a many years of research concerning the real possibility that Jesus was actually a Pantheist, I am nearly finished with a novel that just may become one of the most controversial books/movies ever written. I have my fingers crossed ;>)

According to many anthropologists, Pantheism was probably the first philosophical belief Mankind developed. From the ancient cave wall depictions, we can assume early people revered "Nature" as their God. We know Pantheism was around during the time of Jesus, however most Jewish people were completely unaware of Pantheism.

There are hundreds of millions of Pantheists worldwide. Most Taoists are pantheists, along with many Chinese, Japanese and Western Buddhists, deep ecologists, pagans, animists, followers of many native religions, and many Unitarian Universalists. The central philosophical scriptures of Hinduism are pantheistic. Many atheists and humanists may be naturalistic pantheists without realizing it.

If you google Pantheism you will find, as in most beliefs, there are many variations of Pantheism. However, all Pantheists agree on at least one thing, "God and the Universe are one in the same."

I have coined my particular brand of Pantheism as "Christian Pantheism." And here is an in-depth, rather profound definition of the Christian Pantheist God/Universe...

God/Universe is the contradiction of contradictions. IT is the paradox of paradoxes. When we define what an Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent God/Universe would consist of, without placing any unnecessary limits on the three major attributes of God (the three O's), this is what we ultimately end up with...

There is nothing that is not IT. God is literally everything (Omnipresent), and everything comes from IT, made by IT, and is part of IT. IT is the good, bad, ugly, and the beautiful. IT is everything one can see, taste, touch, hear, think, and everything we cannot sense. IT thinks nothing for IT knows all things (Omniscient). IT takes no thought, yet is all thought. ITs fate is fated by ITs complete All-knowingness. IT is conscious, yet unconscious. IT is perfect, yet imperfect. IT is clearly visible, and yet unseen. It has no beginning or end, yet is both finite/limited and infinite/unlimited. IT is both male and female, and yet has no gender. IT is finished, yet just beginning. IT creates nothing, for IT in ITself is uncreated. IT is One, yet many. IT is all powerful, yet powerless (Omnipotent). There is no time in which IT exists, yet time exists. IT is still, yet active. ITs existence is accidental, yet no accidents exist. ITs purpose has no purpose. IT has no plan, yet is the plan. IT has a reason to exist, yet IT does not reason. IT is free, yet has no free will. IT is life and death, yet never lives or dies. IT is profound, yet simplistic. IT is One with us, and we are One with IT. And when we find IT, we find a significant part of our insignificant Self.

Ok, that's a little about myself. I am always looking to make new friends. If you would like to discuss the subject of Pantheism, please email me and we'll talk.

Love and Light to you!!!

Robin Quinn

"If you don't believe the future exists, you will never see IT.

"Nothing could be more supreme than the Universe."

"People with small brains believe in small gods with small brains."

"If you are not trying to define God, you are either at the top of the Great Spiritual Mountain, or at the bottom."
